Increasingly restricted eligibility for no-cost, publicly funded services has led many families to ask for the option to arrange and pay for services they believe are important to their family member, but are not available through Regional Centers or other public sources.

Families have found that working directly with Tierra provides a degree of truly responsive and personalized support that may not be possible through publicly funded options.

Tierras del Sol provides intake, assessment and service recommendations for self-referring families.  A broad array of of direct service options may be arranged, including:

educational support

work support

independent living support

social skills coaching

Tierra has developed an expertise in personalized life-long future planning and family support case management utilizing the PATH planning model.  We highly recommend the PATH planning for all new families because it has proven to be a highly effective and powerful tool for setting and achieving goals and service objectives.
