U.S. President Barack Obama declared April 15-21, 2012, National Volunteer Week, noting, “Our Nation has been profoundly shaped by ordinary Americans who have volunteered their time and energy to overcome extraordinary challenges.”

In honor of this important week, Tierra del Sol Foundation showed it gratitude for its treasured volunteers by hosting Tierra’s Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on April 17.

“Tierra thrives with the help of its dedicated volunteers, who give tirelessly for the benefit of our participants,” said Tierra Executive Director Steve Miller. “We feel honored that they have chosen to be part of the Tierra del Sol family and privileged to show them how deeply grateful we are for all that they do.”
