The artists of First Street Gallery and Tierra del Sol will have a strong showing at this year’s Core 7: Defining Ourselves exhibition. Now in its seventh year, the Core show, which is presented by Arts & Services for Disabled Inc. and the National Arts and Disability Center, continues to showcase artists with disabilities from around the world. Core is a forum for artists, community members and arts & disability advocates to build common bonds and promote themselves through the arts. This year’s exhibition is curated by visual artist Harold Plople.
First Street Gallery/Tierra del Sol artists exhibited: Teresa Curiel-Gonzalez, Sarit Halo, Jonathan Jackson, Trina Kirkman, John Maull, Patricia Sagawa, Harold Sakamoto and Jennifer Tamashiro.
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 19th, 6-9pm
